Most likely custom made for the previous owner; the beautifully crafted ring highlights a diamond set cursive letter "L" set within an elaborate mount. Brutalist jewelry emerged in the 1960s and 1970s when rough textures and raw sculptural designs became popular. The ring is large in scale and has a great presence on the hand.
