It features a cast brass elephant as the base, with a rotary dial often integrated into one of its legs, and a brass-toned handset. Notice rotary inset looks like an African desert picture. A little faded but you can make it out. Rotary part could use repair or perhaps not. Rotary is not loose and aligns perfectly but does not adjust back to original number as “I recall they did”. Not sure of working order but telephone cord good shape. This type of decorative phone was popular in the Midcentury Modern period, embodying the Hollywood Regency aesthetic. See less
