Marino Marini (1901-1980) was an influential Italian sculptor and educator. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence and later taught at the Scuola d’Arte di Villa Reale in Monza. While in Paris, he connected with artists such as Chirico and Magnelli and developed a friendship with Giacometti./
