What could be more timeless than a hand-crafted Chippendale chest with quarter columns and ogee bracket feet? There is a reason this style of chest has been so consistently reproduced over the years: it's traditional,
Built in the Chippendale style popular in the mid to late 1700s, this chest was made in the early 1800s based on the nail type used. Rural areas further from the coast held on to styles longer and were slower to change. The use of cherry instead of mahogany or walnut points to a more rural origin as well.
