This early-to-mid 20th century piece was made in a traditional or Jacobean/Victorian Revival style with claw-like feet and ornate carved row of applied roundels/gadrooning trim and curvy bracket sides are typical of the Jacobean/Victorian-Revival period. The upper section with tall sides and a handle cutout is designated to hold magazines, newspapers, or sheet music upright. The lower shelf offers extra storage space for larger books or additional periodicals. This stand will complement almost any space or style. See less
