Antique print titled 'Old Lion Insulted'. This print originates from a series depicting fables by Samuel Howitt. Samuel Howitt was an English painter, illustrator and etcher of animals, hunting, horse-racing and landscape scenes. He worked in both oils and watercolors. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
