Beautiful antique XL painting with sunflowers in oil paint and a baroque black frame with gold details from the 1920s. The painting was painted by Martinus Joseph Bertels (1897), born in Gouda. In addition to being a painter, this Dutch master was also a monumental artist and mosaicist. The painting is in its original good condition and measures no less than 132 cm high, 93.5 cm wide, and 9 cm deep.
The frame is finished with black lacquer and the details are highlighted with a gold finish. This was done to make the frame match the painting. This piece has an attribution mark,
