The desk top has been hand-sanded however some wear remains as the veneer was too thin to sand out a handful of deep scratches, gouges and burns all of which can be seen in the detail photos provided. With that said the mix of solid and veneered European oak composition is in overall very good shape with outstanding woodgrains throughout. All six drawers open and close with ease and all joinery has been tightened.
