Elegant and rare pair of John Widdicomb nightstands from the company’s French Provincial line, circa 1955–1965. Each cabinet features:
• Antique white painted finish with parcel-gilt accents (red bole visible under gilt where worn).
• Mesh-front cabinet doors with original pleated fabric curtains — a distinctive and uncommon detail.
• Single dovetailed drawer with original “Made by John Widdicomb” brass tag.
• Cabriole legs and shaped apron in Louis XV style.
• Original factory shipping label on the back, noting “Ant White & Gold.”
