William Spratling 1940 Taxco Deco Retro Earrings made of .925 sterling silver.
These three-dimensional earrings were designed by the renowned American artist and architect William Spratling, who played a pivotal role in the Mexican Silver Renaissance in Taxco, Mexico, during the 20th century. Crafted with Art Deco influences and retro elements, these earrings reflect the distinctive style of Spratling's work from the 1940s, specifically between 1940 and 1946 when his workshop "Spratling y Artesanos" was active. They are made of solid .925 sterling silver and feature French screw backs for closure. Each earring's design incorporates three-dimensional elements with bead accents.
The earrings are stamped.
