A 1940s Jenny Lind full/double walnut spindle, bobbin, or spool bed features a classical peaked pediment and its original light honey/oak colored wood stain. The four thick turned posts of the headboard and footboard terminate in large, stacked urn finials at the top and bun feet at the bottom. Pointed arches reminiscent of the Taj Mahal add extra detail, separated by ten vertical spindles on both the headboard and the footboard, which are identical except for height. The original wooden side rails are included, along with three wood slats to support your mattress.

- Excellent vintage condition, with some cosmetic wear typical of the age, including light fading and wear to the finish, as … moreExcellent vintage condition, with some cosmetic wear typical of the age, including light fading and wear to the finish, as well as small nicks and marks here and there. The heaviest fading is along the horizontal spindles that crown the pediments. Two minor flaws are clarified in the last two photos. The first flaw is a thin pen mark along the inside frame of the footboard, which will be hidden behind a mattress. The second is a 1/2" diagonal nick in one of the spools along the headboard pediment, which will be turned towards the wall when assembled. less
