It has retained its beautiful original color. Verner Panton began his career as an employee of Arne Jacobsen, being a fan of bright colors and geometric shapes.
Verner Panton designed this chair especially for the Kom Igen restaurant in Denmark: the Cone Chair. As the name suggests, the body of the chair is cone-shaped. It rests on its tip, and a circular extension on one half of the upper part forms the backrest, which, like the seat, is comfortably upholstered. The entire body is covered with fabric, and the Cone Chair is supported by a flat, graceful four-legged base made of brushed stainless steel.
