The piece is dated by its British Registry Number (R-N-113018) to the year 1888, making it a true historical artifact. Its design showcases the eclectic inspirations of the era, contrasting a vibrant turquoise upper body, adorned with a beautifully molded pink rose, against a rustic, dark-glazed lower half with a bark-like texture. A stylized yellow fish or sash wraps around the middle, hinting at the Japonisme influence popular at the time.

This unique pitcher measures 7" wide, 5" deep, and 7.5" high.
