Murano artwork is known for its intricate metalwork and decorative elements that showcase all of their artesians’ craftsmanship. This piece could easily blend vintage charm into contemporary aesthetics—so, it could work with almost any decor! ;)
The metalwork around the white, blown glass is a very warm gold, almost to a copperish tone, but the top part is more of a golden bronze—all of the colors meld together, beautifully.
There is 15’ of golden chain covering 20’ of cording, so you could create a dramatic “swag” effect— it is a pet peeve of mine, when they skimp on the chain!
This piece could definitely be a focal point for an entrance way or a medium sized room, but it is not so ostentatious that it would monopolize a larger room. The chandelier would look lovely, swagged over a reading chair, a cozy conversing area, or in a library—a versatile piece of art! See less
