Difficult to date this overwsize Talavera sangria pitcher from near Toledo Spain; Spanish talavera appears to be more refined in design and the colors less intense compared to it's unrestrained Mexican talavera.
This server is 16" tall x 7" at the widest part, and the base is 4". It has the exaggerated spout common to sangria pitchers, particularly those made iin Spain.
Hand painted and glazed, this 2-qt pitcher will delight your guests and handle the business end of sangria.
Signed 'Talavera" on bottom.
