Fine original art print of an engraving by Vendramine, hand colored depicting a scene from ‘Cries of London’, ‘Chairs Needing Mending’. (Original painting by Wheatley exhibited in the Royal Academy in 1792).
This print is from 1810-20 and is framed for hanging. It measures 10 1/2” by 14”.
Bought from an estate sale of early American and Georgian-era art in 1991 in New York.
