Impressionist pastel on heavy paper by Washington State artist Susan Flora Gendenning (born 1948.) Signed lower left with her middle name and inscribed "NPS" for National Pastel Society.
Glendenning was born in Virginia and trained at Meredith College in Raleigh, graduating in 1971. She continued her education in North Carolina before spending time in Europe. She has been a Pacific Northwest resident since 1979.
