A stunning, cased blown glass vase in the shape of a chalice or cup, crafted with two layers of glass: … Read more A stunning, cased blown glass vase in the shape of a chalice or cup, crafted with two layers of glass: one green and one white for the cup, and a dark green for the stem. The glass is unsigned, created by Carlo Moretti, a renowned Murano artist, and dates back to around 1960. The light, almost luminescent green of the cup is beautifully reflected by the strong reflection of light from the white glass layer against the dark green stem. The glass is frosted and slightly wrinkled due to the obvious acid treatment.
