Stunning pair of large French Venetian mirrors from the 19th century. The pair make a statement with their ornate plaster decorations, to the large curved top arches and the original mercury glass mirrors. Their heavy wood frames make them sturdy and strong. Several repairs have been made throughout with much chippy paint, and desilvering to the mirrors. The age and wear give them so much character. Acquired from a Jupiter Island Estate in 2025. This pair is made for a grand interior and they won't disappoint.

Several repairs have been made to the plaster decorations. Plaster decorations are delicate especially when handling but can be re-glued if fall off while moving. Much chippy paint and cracking to the finish. Desilvering mirrors and even some of the wood backing is showing through. Far from perfect but that's what gives them so much antique character.
