The vase is in very nice original condition without any damages or repairs. the measurements are 31 cm in height, 15 cm in diameter to the base and 9,6 cm in diameter to the mouth.

The story of the family Jobs artistic history and craftsmanship starts with siblings Peer, Lisbet and Gocken Jobs, born early in the 20th century. The three grew up in Dalarna in a large and artistic family – their father was an organist and composer, while their mother was an artist whose paintings and embroidery prominently featured flower motifs.
Sisters Lisbet and brother Gocken was trained as potters and they started their own pottery studio in the 1930s. At the same time, Peer became interested in textile printing, producing his first printed fabrics with handcarved printing blocks. This resulted in the company Jobs Handtryck, which has produced handprinted textiles ever since the start. Textiles and fabrics in wonderful, often bright colours and broad design with flowers, plants and animals. Up till today over 500 patterns have been transferred to fabrics and 80 is in production today. Jobs Handtryck is, as you understand, still an active company and is run by the ancestor's Åsa and Jesper Jobs. This piece has an attribution mark,
