the larger serpente floor lamp (model 2131, designed in 1965) is characterized by its curved, organic shape, reminiscent of an elegantly upright snake. The hemispherical shade made of white methacrylate is pivoting, allowing for precise light direction, while the curved metal arm grows harmoniously from the round base.

the smaller cobra table lamp (model 599, designed in 1968) impresses with its sculptural appearance, with the shaft and shade forming a flowing unit. Its reflector is rotatable, allowing for versatile lighting moods.

both models are epitomes of space age design, combining futuristic form with functional flexibility, and are now among the most collectible pieces on display in major museums such as the moma in new york.

condition: both lamps are in very good, well-maintained original condition with only slight, age-related signs of wear on the lacquered surface. The methacrylate shades are clean, free of cracks, and show only minimal, barely noticeable signs of wear.
