Offered is a smashing 1st Edition book, "Tarkay", featuring the works of 20th Century Israeli artist, Itzchak Tarkay. His works are a whimsical mix of bold saturated colors and soft pastels, but their recurring themes are women, women, and more women, mostly seated in cafes or lost in deep thoughts, snuggled in lush interiors. His works are reminiscent of the works of Matisse and Modigliani. It includes over 150 of his works - many sampled here, cloth cover in a buttery yellow with silver debossed title, and the dust-jacket is a feast for the eye.
