This is an awesome, deep, storage chest!
Ornately carved with 4 posts & hinged lift up lid.
It can be locked (will need a padlock etc) by the iron bar/loop on front.
I believe it is Middle Eastern, Afghani possibly, & a Dowry chest.
Great for the end of a bed :-)
The height given is to the top of a corner post.
The height to the flat area in the back is 37".
