This painting floats inside a thick and deep 2.5” Lucite frame. It’s signed in the lower bottom right along with the date of 1965. And on the front lower left, signed in pencil is the title of the art and the edition of 20/24. This painting is 45.5” high. Esler was considered a pioneer in the Canadian printmaking. In fact, he gained his national and international reputation for making an impact on the new generation of print artists by demonstrating a strong commitment to the craft of printmaking and the exploitation of the creative of theoretical boundaries of this discipline.
