This antique is constructed in an ironstone ceramic basket topped with yellow straw, meticulously placed eggs of two different colors and finally intentionally placed luscious majolica green and black olives and olive vines. The ceramic centerpiece conveys feelings of a happy feast and boundless prosperity. Continental in origin. Without a makers' mark.

Some loss to the stoneware on two leaves on the rear of the centerpiece (see pics), though it hardly matters as what leaf bearing vine in reality, exists without loss of some kind. The topiary is 12" long, 4" wide and stands 8" tall.
