This set of 12 sherbet glasses manufactured by Rock Sharpe feature the Halifax pattern. The Halifax crystal pattern was made by Rock Sharpe during the 1940s, with some evidence suggesting production stretched from the late 1930s into the early 1950s.
Because Rock Sharpe functioned mainly as a cutting and marketing operation, glass blanks were provided by firms like Libbey, which acquired the company in 1947. Halifax is recognized for its clear crystal decorated with etched floral designs, a zig-zag cut stem, and its smooth, highly finished look.
