The table features … Read more Massive rustic country English provincial style farmhouse dining table or harvest table measuring over 8 feet long. The table features a 2.5 inch thick plank top with breadboard ends. The table is constructed from walnut with a trestle base. The apron is fitted with a storage drawer on one end and a pullout cutting board on the opposite side. The thick top is supported by chunky turned legs conjoined by an H-shaped stretcher and ending with bun feet. The walnut has an aged, weathered patina full of charm and character to commensurate age and use. The table is very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The top is secured to the base with iron bolts underneath. Lovely profile and scale.
