Striking Louis XV style late 19c. French Country server in tight-grained French chesnut, covered in hand carved rococo motif, 'rocks and shells', with a dash of art nouveau tossed in dating to the 1890s.
The upper backsplash (removable to use elsewhere or to mount on a wall above the buffet) with display shelf and cabriole legs ending in scroll feet in top of a parquetry serving surface, 2 drawers over a 2 door cabinet and a storage/display space below. All solid White oak for base woods
We almost had fistfights in France to buy this high quality piece when we encountered them.
Make this a centerpiece in a kitchen or dining area. Also, what a fantastic bar it would make.
