Introducing a stunning piece of history: this authentic vintage 1940’s Art Deco style weather station, crafted by Fee and Stemwedel Inc. in Chicago. Featuring a sleek black Bakelite cabinet, this striking weather station includes a barometer, thermometer, and humidity gauges, making it both functional and decorative.

With an intriguing sticker on the bottom from “Fox & Staniland, Inc., 702 Main Street, Buffalo, N.Y.,” this piece carries a sense of mystery, as my research could not identify the purpose of this business, which no longer exists at this location.

This weather station is in very good preloved condition, free from major imperfections including chips, cracks, or repairs. The temperature and humidity readings align well with my home thermostat, while the barometer shows fluctuations over time, indicating it is operational.

I believe this model to be the Argyle, beautifully designed with a chrome border around the barometer. The back comes off easily with four thumb screws, featuring a hole for barometer adjustment.
