Super exciting , super colorful, Nemaji USA swirl Pottery vase with mark on the base. Unglazed, and in excellent condition. Blue , Red, Orange on White creates drama.
History of Nemaji and the meaning. The name is an Ojibwe which stands for left handed. Although it has not been made by Native American. Clayton James Dodge founded Nemaji tile and pottery company in 1929 at Moose Lake initially focused on Arts and Crafts Ceramic tiles. It was produced primarily between 1929 and 1972. Pottery clay came from the Bank of the Nemaji River.
