Danish mid-century modern tambour roll-top secretary desk in the style of Tørring Møbelfabrik.
A beautiful display of Danish craftsmanship. This piece serves as a secretary desk and also as a chest of drawers with plenty of storage. Pulling open the top work surface activates the roll top; they open in conjunction with one another. The tambour rolltop glides open to reveal cubby and drawer space. The pencil drawer allows for work surface support when opened. A black leather inset at the work surface gives an elegant touch.
Mostly solids and mix of some veneer. Drawers glide easily as does the tambour rolltop. There are glides at the base to protect the desk from dragging the bottom, can be slid easily into place. See the finished back as well. See all photos and condition notes.
