This stunning antique, circa 1880s, pine Swedish sideboard buffet is topped with a mirrored crown embellished with finials and decorative incised carvings. The buffet itself is ornamented with fluting on the drawers, turned columns and bun feet... as well as the original brass hardware with working door key! There is ample interior storage with three shelves, one of which is scalloped, and two drawers, one of which is divided for silverware storage. The sideboard has a rich waxed finish with a rich amber honey glow.
Note the imperfections and speckling in the waxed finished at the bottom, notably on the bottom right, due to over a century of use. The black marks in the original wavy mirror are due to scraches on the back of the mirror that shine through to the front, see photos.
