This Art Deco or Egyptian Revival style lamp features a nude woman reclining with a bowl held in her outstretched hand and cloth wound around her waist. She rests atop a marble plinth consisting of four pieces attached together; behind her, a metal semi-circle frames a panel of frosted glass backlit from behind with a candelabra light socket. Switch on cord for easy on/off.
Though in many variants of this lamp her bowl supports the light socket, in this version her bowl has no hole in the manner of an incense burner. The socket instead supported by a tab molded into the metal semicircle behind the figure, providing for a striking display as she stands out darkly against the illumination behind. Shown with a 25w lamp; with a smaller bulb, she makes for an elegant nightlight.

Excellent vintage condition: glass has been attached to metal frame with epoxy due to loss of original tabs, minor spot of epoxy showing at bottom of frame and small scratches on glass as shown. Some imperfections in casting of figure as shown. New antique-style socket, new cord, and new switch for a nicely working lamp.
