A bird and insects decorate this 8 inch scalloped edge cabinet plate (it is almost a shallow bowl) with gold edging from the 1800's. The mark indicates Meissen and the 2 slashes indicate a lesser quality. Look for 3 other similar plates in my shop to make a grouping of different birds.
Size: 8.25" diameter
Condition: Some loss of gold edging and inconsistencies in the hand painting which adds to the charm. Some marks inherent to glazing process.
