Discovered in New Hampshire, this crazy quilt is a true work of art. It has some hand-painted patches, early prints, wovens, and velvets of silk and cotton. It is hand-sewn and embroidered. The velvet border is about 1” wide, and there does not appear to be any batting. It would make a wonderful wall hanging or draped over furniture.

This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.
