This set of chairs are in … Read more Set of 8 DREXEL Heirloom Chippendale Style Mahogany ball and claw foot Dining Chairs. This set of chairs are in a very traditional style that will always be in good taste no matter what the flavor of the month is. Set is based on an 18th century Chippendale chair made in Philadelphia around the time of our American Revolution. Set consists of 2 arms and 6 side chairs. Chairs have cabriole legs with shell carved knees and ball and claw feet. Nice carved hand holds on the arms and a shell carved crest rail. The seat heights are 18 1/2". The chairs all stand 39 3/4" tall and are 22 1/2" at the widest point, the knees, and they are 23" deep. Chairs show minor wear consistent with use and age. A couple of the seat covers have a couple of spots that I think will clean, if not the slip seats are easily recovered. Hard to find a set of 8 chairs of this style and quality. See less
