This vintage Turkish Oushak runner, measuring 3' by 13'1", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Originating from the Anatolian plateau, the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, each village in this area developed unique designs and color schemes rarely replicated by others. These antique rugs, often featured in historic European paintings, are known for their bold geometric patterns and muted tones, making them highly sought after by interior designers.
