A superb set of six 19th century engraved ruby red wine glasses dating to between c1880 and c1920.
Ruby red, they have bands of fine engraved fruiting vine around the rims. Large annulated shoulder knops on solid stems and feet, which have also been polished flat on the underside.
We have never come across this form before, which is very unusual. Lead glass, solid stems and feet, each weighs approx. 226 grams and they have rounded rims. High quality workmanship.
A magnificent period set all in superb condition.

Excellent, no damage or restoration. Clean and clear. Wear to the underside of the feet as expected.
