A unique pair of gilt bronze wall sconces that capture the theatrical opulence of the Baroque era.
Each sconce features an asymmetrical rocaille motif, intricately cast with beautiful patina. The design culminates in a lion's mask at the top, a classic mythological element believed to offer protection and power. Below the mask, the body of the sconce flows into a singular candleabra, and is flanked by scrolling foliage that ends in a stylized acanthus leaf.
Perfect for flanking a fireplace, a mirror, or as a powerful accent in a study or dining room, this pair offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of European decorative history.
