Made from pine, it has a brass fixture on its single draw, and a layered wood back. Below the drawer it has a large "open" compartment. If you're looking to stand a lamp, put down a book and store away other odd sundries then this nightstand is a most stylish solution. Perfect for someone furnishing a home whose looking for that final piece to complete a room.

The whole piece measures: 28 3/8" height x 16" width x 10 3/4" depth.
The open compartment measures APPROXIMATELY: 14 3/4" width x 9 5/8" depth x 20" height.

CONDITION, PLEASE READ: This night stand is in good condition yet it does show signs of age and wear as all great vintage items do. Examine all the pictures closely. It is marked in places: many of which could be cleaned off with warm soapy water, or the whole stand could be covered in a light wax if you prefer that look. Zoom in & out of the pics to get a good sense of its exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The brass fixture on the draw is loose. The nightstand has a very slight wobble if lightly shaken / pushed. If this is an issue for you then it could be fixed by lightly sanding one of the feet or simply putting a piece of folded paper under one of the feet!
