This hallmarked excellent guilloché enamel art deco cigarette case with gilded inside is typical for the vienna art deco style. Likely manufactured directly after ww1, as enamelled boxes made in the austrian republic for export at that time often were marked "sterling" just like this one.
deep stamped "935" (93.5% pure silver), "sterling", the swedish oval three crown stamp (for silver imported to sweden), as well as "s" (for pure silver). There are also two stamps resembling a "9" and a "3". The case opens easily by pushing a small onyx stone set in the silver.
