This is a "Gamal" root tree glass vase. The unique vase is made of molten glass blown onto the root of a natural gamal tree, perfectly matching the shape of the tree. It consists of two parts – a transparent, curved, thin-necked vase- or tube-like upper part, and a turquoise, organically shaped, molten-effect lower part. Both parts of the glass are hand-blown.
The combination of glass and wood creates an organic, natural effect, as if the glass flow is growing out of the wood. The curved glass shape makes the composition dynamic.
