Did you ever wonder where Ridley Scott displayed his glass unicorns? Well, wonder no more. This sinister etagere is not only hard to find, but we promise you won’t come across a nicer version of this Adrian Pearsall Brutalist Display Cabinet anywhere. Our restoration team covets this unique line and labors with love by techniques perfected over the years. The end result looks great, and we encourage you to compare our competitors offerings closely to see the difference we offer.
Ideal in so many applications, the practicality is boundless. Finished on all sides, this etagere could double as a room divider. Display art or simply use as a bookshelf. All three 3/8″ thick, grey glass shelves are removable.
Height: 76 in (193.04 cm)
Width: 37 in (93.98 cm)
Depth: 18 in (45.72 cm)
The elaborately decorated resin surfaces were borrowed from Paul Evans premium Brutalist studio pieces. The resin on this etagere has a goopy, heavily textured surface mimicking molten metal.
Although made of resin, the surface looks metallic with gunmetal gray, bronze, gold, and black tones. There are etched elements and goopy molded forms resembling large sunflowers. The timelessness of this piece cannot be overstated. An investment that is certain to appreciate over time.
Condition: Replacements made: One new glass shelf. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good original condition. (1) new replacement shelf. Minor imperfections on the (2) original shelves. Resin has been detailed top to bottom. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
