Denmark, ca. 1950s. A Minerva Daybed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France & Son. Features a minimalist solid teak base with bullnose profile supported by turned conical legs. Reversible bench cushion has been freshly upholster in a high quality charcoal great wool from Maharam with contrasting gray tufted buttons and wedge pillow.
Great for a den, library, or window perch. The frame is in overall very good vintage condition with an honest patina that we rather enjoy. Fully marked and presents quite handsomely.
