Paul Guiramand (1926–2007) was a French painter and lithographer associated with the postwar School of Paris, known for his lyrical abstraction and refined sense of color. Influenced by the works of Matisse, Bonnard, and Braque, his painting blends figuration and abstraction, often with lyrical, dreamlike compositions, known for harmonious color fields, flowing forms, and poetic atmospheres. His lithographs often highlight the same lyrical, fluid qualities as his paintings. See less
