Abstract Geometric Composition in Green, Blue, and White - Acrylic on Canvas
Bold abstract composition by Robert William Hinds (American, b. 1926). This composition is divided up into sections by thin black lines and a few circular shapes. Many of the resulting sections have been filled in with an alternating pattern of green and blue.
Signed and dated "Robert William Hines / 90" on stretcher bar.

Robert William Hinds (American, b. 1924) is an artist, illustrator, sculptor, and educator originally from Ohio. Hinds worked as a graphic designer for about 15 years in New York but left to pursue sculpting and painting full-time. He studied casting techniques in Bologna, Italy before returning to the United Stated and settling in Santa Fe. Hinds was a United Nations Artist, living in the Caribbean where he taught and directed art programs. His world travels are frequently reflected in the themes of his art.
