Exceptional detail with articulated wings and expressive face. Originally used as a table centerpiece to serve hors d'oeuvres on toothpicks placed in the tiny holes on the penguin's chest and feathers. Figures like this were sometimes used as brule parfums, pomanders and night lights. Measures 8 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" x 3 1/8". Good condition. A handsome figure. See less
