A dining table base by Henredon in oil-drop lacquer echoing the sophistication of tortoiseshell. With a simplistic Parson’s style form combined with Chinese Chippendale detail and the sheen of brass ferrules, this base is at once modern and classic. The substantial size easily accommodates a glass top to seat 8. Apparently unmarked.
Note: the original glass top with small beveled to the edge is available at no additional acquisition cost and upon buyer’s request at time of purchase. It has been omitted from the listing due to its extreme weight, thus requiring specialized shipping. Dimensions: 48”w x 84”d
