Antique Staffordshire White Ironstone Girard Shape Pitcher & Bowl, circa 1856-1858
Made by the Ridgway, Bates & Co. of Hanley, Stoke on Trent, England. The company was only in business from 1856 to 1858 at the Cauldron Place Works in Hanley.
Very rare and hard to find pattern and maker. Marked with an impressed mark. Both pieces are marked.
Size: Bowl: 13 1/2” across, 5” tall.
Pitcher: 11 1/2” tall, 7” wide.
Condition: overall very good condition. The pitcher has a spider line on the base, see pictures. Typical use and wear marks associated with age, and use.
