Large elegant vintage ceramic ginger jar on a mantel or console table. The faience motifs feature hand painted medallions with Classic Dutch floral and foliate design. Signed Delfts, the traditional blue and white jars have a dome lid embellished with dog figure at the top, and are stamped on the bottom "Royal Sphinx by Boch, Holland". This extra large delft jar is excellent condition with rich colors throughout, and would make a traditional addition to a mantel set, or stand alone piece. Circa 1960.
Age wear. No chips or cracks.
